Strawberry and Lime Refresher

Hello, summer? Is that you? Warmer temps mean colder drinks and we aren’t mad about it. Try this refreshing combo of strawberry and lime–it’s the perfect go-to for a summer cool off moment and bonus points for it being pretty to look at!

Instructions

Muddle the strawberries, lime juice and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker. Then pour the unstrained liquid into a highball glass filled with ice. Add the rum to the same glass and stir. Top the glass with club soda until the glass is full and give it one final stir. Option to garnish with a strawberry and sprig of mint. 

*Simple Syrup Instructions

Add the sugar and water to a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let the mixture cool before pouring into a glass jar. Seal tightly with a lid and store in your refrigerator. It will keep for about 1 month.
