Cocktail Instructions
Place a martini glass in the freezer to chill. Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add the berry syrup, vodka, and orange juice. Cover and shake vigorously. Strain the cocktail into the chilled martini glass, and garnish with an orange peel and a cherry.
Berry Simple Syrup Instructions*
Add 1 cup water to a small saucepan. Adjust heat to low, and add the berries, sugar, and thyme. Cook, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved about 15 minutes. Do not let the mixture boil. Remove from the heat, and strain the mixture into a heat-proof glass container with a lid. Refrigerate until used.
